Hmm well.. This is just purely speculation/wishful thinking on my part:
- Pledis saying Eyoung has a “surprise” on the fancafe when they posted a selca of her and to look forward to her more
- Eyoung asking everyone to please look forward to more of her charms in her blog entry
- Kaeun saying Eyoung’s been teaching her about musical instruments
- Kaeun talking about/emphasizing on events in August (Jungah/Eyoung/her birthdays, the weather) in her blog entry and saying she’ll “deliver a nice powerful stage in return” (why would she talk about stages in August when they’ve already had their goodbye stage)
- Pledis have been sending Eyoung and sometimes Kaeun out on a lot of variety shows along with the members of OC, OC because they’re debuting in Japan so I guess Pledis wants to promote them, and.. well they could purely just want to expose Eyoung and Kaeun more but if they are planning on the sub-unit then it makes sense for them to send them out on those shows too.
- The recent blog entries on PGJ and even Google+ have mostly been OC+Eyoung/Kaeun centered, OC because again like I said above because they are debuting in Japan and are preparing for their 1st full album and Eyoung/Kaeun because they need more exposure and also if the sub-unit is in the works it’s good for them too (am I making sense here lol)
Maybe I’m delusional and looking too much into it (maybe Pledis just wants to expose Eyoung/Kaeun more and nothing more than that, which is still great!) but.. I just think it’s time for a new sub-unit. Even K-fans on DCGall have been discussing it. I’m really scared to be disappointed when it doesn’t happen after getting my hopes up though

I also want that. But I think Kaeun was talking about a fan-meeting or something similar. AVEX keeps the group busy in Japan, they know their only guarantee is keeping their fanbase entertained, then, try to gain new audience everytime a new single drops.
But, I wish they could do their own thing, as well as I thing it’s about time for Jung-Ah to shine more, perhaps a solo song, even if it’s for a CM ><
I was watching the fan-meeting MV at their Google +, and I also must say I am so proud of them all, but especially of Uee. She's been working her vocals so hard on the past 2 years, and she has indeed improved a lot on the live performances. Also, I was so glad to read that Juyeon had worked out a solo for the meeting. Way to go!
I believe that E-Young and Kaeun might work out a nice unit. The thing is, if Ara and Hyelim had remained as Pre-School girls, they also would've worked a nice unit with E-Young, but since they do have a lot of spotlight in HV, I rather see an AS unit, than a Pledis SP one.
Although I am also demanding a Dambi + Ren collabo. I also think SP units mixing boys and girls of Pledis would be great. E-Young has just so much potential, I am glad she's getting more exposure.

A UEE/E-Young/Kaeun sub-group would be great since the looks of those three complement each other and it would make sense to group the most popular member with the ‘underrated’ and new members. Or better yet, have an E-Young/Kaeun/Kyungmin sub-group. You have a main dancer in Kyungmin, A main great vocals from E-Young and Kaeun. I guess either of those three can rap.
