[Jacked from: okdr] In favor of those saying they’re done…
When you decide to join a fandom, they should give you a manual with rules.
On PG one they should highlight the fact that this group is an admissions and graduations group and how these groups usually work. Also, there should be a line telling you to not base your love in the group on your bias/biases. I think AS is one of those groups that expose fans’ true feelings the most: some think they like the group when they only like a member or two, and they only relate to a certain style of songs the group has or has done. It happens with other groups, and not only in K-Pop.
But for AS it takes a deeper meaning, because this is not the type of group that is meant to remain untouchable and doing the same concepts all over again. The only reason why they haven’t done too many styles musically is because Pledis hasn’t spent that much money or time looking for new producers, and we all know how stuck are some of the K-Pop producers in the same musical concepts or melodic lines… after all, they’re still a small company, but at least they tried it by looking for Daishi Dance.
People saying they’re only mistreating AS are wrong, they’re not mistreating anyone, if you take the credits of all their acts, you’ll see how the names of their producers are repeated all over again. And what they do, is try to get their acts involved when they buy tracks from overseas, in the lyrics and such.
I don’t want to keep on regreting who’s not there with this comeback. Maybe we lack the experience of MoMusu fans and others, but enough with saying the graduation screws them up. If it screws them up that much, why did they even join such a group? When the girls want to do something else, they graduate. And only Bekah would have the right to complain, however, it’s true she was given time to think it over.
Kahi helped create such a graduation and admissions project, and I don’t think she would like to see how much some supposed fans bitch about it.
I trully would love to have a proper graduation, though. Pledis is delaying way too much giving a proper explanation to all this matter, I hope they can learn from it and do it better on the future and the upcoming graduations. Is not like they don’t have models to look for.
I’m staying for the same reasons I can still be a fan of Wonder Girls: because I honestly like the group and what it stands for. Whether my bias stays or goes, whether some songs are of my appeal or don’t. Whether the new additions sing better or worse.
